Is there a free Tiny Desk AI generator?

Last checked November 3, 2026

Mostly no, and for a simple reason: every face swap runs on a paid AI video model. A couple of sites give a free first video or a short preview, and CapCut templates are free if you don't need a face in the performance. Here's what each option gives you, then a price comparison.

The free options

CapCut template: The cuts and the song.Catch: no new face in the performance, only photos or stickers on top.
A free first video (outstandingtinydesk.net): One full video with up to five people.Catch: once per person; paid after that.
A free preview (tinydeskai.tv): A few watermarked, low-resolution seconds.Catch: only shows whether the face works; the full video is paid.
Do it yourself: Full control with any video model that has an edit or reference mode.Catch: the renders still cost money, plus an hour or so of editing.

Free and pricing FAQ

Can I make a Tiny Desk AI video for free?

Only partly. One site offers a free first video and another a short watermarked preview. TryTinyDesk doesn't offer free renders because each one runs on a paid AI model, but credits come back automatically if a video can't be made.

Is the CapCut version the same thing?

No. CapCut templates reuse the cuts and the song, but they don't put anyone's face into the performance. That part needs an AI video model.

Why doesn't TryTinyDesk have a free trial?

Every render costs us real money on the AI model. Instead of a watermarked trial, TryTinyDesk returns credits automatically when a video can't be made, redoes missed seats at its own cost, and refunds unused packs within 14 days.

What's the cheapest way to make several?

Buy a bigger pack: Three-pack $24.99 ($8.33) · Ten-pack $59.99 ($6.00). Credits never expire.
