Using TryTinyDesk means you accept these terms. The service is simple, so the terms are short: you supply photos, we render a parody video.

The service

TryTinyDesk is an independent tool for making AI parody versions of the viral “Outstanding” Tiny Desk clip for personal, non-commercial sharing. It has no affiliation with, and no endorsement from, NPR, Tiny Desk Concerts, Charlie Wilson or The Gap Band. Tiny Desk is a trademark of NPR. Rights in the concert footage and the song remain with their owners and are not transferred to you by making a parody, so don't sell your video or use it in advertising. We honor takedown requests from rights holders; see the DMCA page.

Photos you upload

• Public figures such as athletes, coaches and celebrities may be used for parody.
• Never upload anyone under 18, or private people who wouldn't agree to appear.
• You keep whatever rights you hold in your photos and allow us to use them only to render your video.

Using your videos

• Allowed: personal, non-commercial parody, such as posting it, sharing it with friends or playing it at a party.
• Not allowed: presenting it as genuine footage, using it to harass or humiliate anyone, or using it in ads or endorsements.
• Social platforms may mute or remove videos containing the song. That's between you and the platform.

Credits and payments

Videos are paid for with credits from one-time packs. Credits don't expire and can't be cashed out except as set out in the refund policy. You see the price before paying.

About AI output

The model aims for a close likeness, not an identical copy, and quality depends on the photo. Some photos may be refused by the model; a refused video's credits are returned.

Our right to refuse

We may decline a render, remove content or close an account that breaks these terms, and we remove content when we receive a valid takedown notice (see DMCA).

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is”. As far as the law permits, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Updates

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. Continuing to use the service means you accept the new version.
